Curriculum planning
Our curriculum adopts the Activity Approach and the Thematic Approach that are strategically designed and arranged according children's development and needs, so that children get their learning experiences from playing games. Through the Spiral Progression approach, the curriculum is arranged according students' gradual progress.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
English is taught by trained foreign English teachers. Children learn phonics through group games, stories and singing activities, which strengthen their capabilities in speaking, reading and writing English. In addition, music games, arts exploration, computer information, physical training, science exploration and moral education are incorporated into the course themes to enable students to master different thematic knowledge in a interdisciplinary way.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
We document children's performance and development through reports of observation records and continuous assessments. Besides, we hold regular meetings with parents to let them better understand their children's learning situation at school.
School Characteristics
School vision and mission
With the intention to serve the community, we aim to nurture children to attain holistic development in the domains of ethics, intellect, physique, social skills and aesthetics, so that they would become able to love themselves, manage themselves, discipline themselves, decide for themselves and learn on their own.
Support to students
We organize visits and extra-curricular experiential activities regularly to enhance students' knowledge about the society. We also hold the Moral Education Week to foster development in the five domains. We have school-based social workers to strengthen children's study, social skills, etc for all-round development of the body and mind. We provide various club acitivities, including choirs, abacus, English games, painting, Latin dance, Road Safety Patrol and ballet, to foster children's learing interest.

We organize large-scale activities regularly, with the assistance of parent volunteers. We also organize educational and parent-child activities to enhance the connection between the school and the parents. Our social workers organize regular workshops and provide individual support to students and families. Parents and students obtain comprehensive support in the aspects of study, discipline, communications and life. The school sets up the annual Learning Activity Day for parents to participate in classroom activities with the students, which strengthens the home-school cooperation.
