Curriculum planning
Committed to holistic development, we provide appropriate education according to the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide(2017) of the Education Bureau, based on the children’s learning ability, interests, principles of development, needs, and prior life experience. In addition, our school attaches great importance to the cultivation of moral education and integrates religious belief with teaching and learning, so that children can learn to practice well in daily life.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Learning activities mainly include theme-based teaching and project-based learning. We provide children-centered inquiry-based activities according to children’s learning interests. Our curriculum involves six Learning Areas, which are “Physical Fitness and Health”, “Language”, “Early Childhood Mathematics”, “Nature and Living”, “Self and Society”, “Arts and Creativity” and ”Spiritual Education”. We let children learn in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere and stimulate their potential and self-learning ability.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
We assess children’s learning performance based on continuous daily observation so as to provide children with appropriate care and follow up on children’s learning.
